The "Crown of Thorns" strand of Psalm Beads has a two fold purpose, to help focus you on the painful reality that we are sinner and have fallen short of the glory of God. And to remind you that if we will confess those sins, God is faithful to forgive us of those sins. When we harbor sins in our lives we quench the power of the Holy Spirit. When we confess those sins we allow the Spirit to move freely in our lives.
This strand of beads acts like an accountability partner. It asks you the hard questions and then reminds you to take it to the LORD. Don't allow sin to live in your heart, confess it and allow God to throw it as far as the east is from the west!
